Where am I -

this was not in my scheme of things .............

the push and the shove and the insults.........


the refusal to succumb .......


the violence - the transition to a beast


the final escape and amputation......

 taught self to float and survive 

but now that I am here - in this calm shore 
waiting for the setting sun

trying to make the best of what remains!!
